More Tawdry Tales for Terry

Some seedy details have come out today about John Terry, and for once they don’t involve underage sluts and/or drunken shenanigans.
Citing an anonymous source at the club, Duncan Castles alleges in the Observer that Brave Captain John may have been at least partially to blame for the mutually consented departure of manager Jose Mourinho.
On Tuesday, prior to the Champions League match with Rosenborg, Terry was informed that Mourinho had asked the Chelsea medical staff if there was a medical reason for his poor form (since having an operation on his back last December).
Terry, a bit peeved, had to be cajoled by a teammate to take part in the pre-match warmup session, to which he arrived late, stating the he “had things on (his) mind.” At fault for the Rosenborg goal in the first half, Terry neither acknowledged Mourinho’s criticism nor accepted responsibility for the goal. This spat was allegedly fodder for Peter Kenyon, at a meeting on Wednesday, to argue that Mourinho had lost the support of the dressing room.
Mourinho sent Terry a text message “thanking” him for talking to the board. Terry was also allegedly lambasted by senior players (Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba, and Florent Malouda) for not doing enough to keep Mourinho at the club.
Would JT be so vain and self-interested that he let a personal criticism trump the long-term future of the club by taking a pro-active role in the sacking of the greatest manager in Chelsea history? Considering his initial contract demands included:
A. a proposed nine-year term
B. a “limitless parity” clause that would assure that he was the club’s highest earner for the duration of the contract
C. an option to become manager of the club upon his retirement,
it is entirely possible.
With plots more complex and interwoven than the beginning of Gosford Park, the only thing certain at Chelsea is that the future is not.
Why has no one made this into a reality show?
they are gone, Chelsea!! Does da new manager have any experience? And a loss to United on Sunday will surely kill them… Then JT can love his contract and sleep (in peace) with the “underage sluts.”
